Quilted Maple Strung Memory Box - Small

Quilted maple is traditionally reserved for the finest work and approaches an iridescent three-dimensional glow reminiscent of glistening wet sand after sea retracts from a beach.

A quilted maple memory box luxuriously veneered throughout, having boxwood stringing on all edges.The front is fitted with a handmade lock and decorative key, the lid has self- supporting precision made hinges. The memory box is traditionally hand French polished to a silky smooth beeswax finish with the interior being upholstered in a classic, natural shade of fine suede entitled “Vision”. (Faux suede is available on request). Each box is identified to the underside with a marquetry lozenge depicting the Wheathills Lady motif, an identifying number and the date the box was created.
