National Trust Maintenance

During 2018 Wheathills undertook subtle conservation work at one of the National Trust’s smallest buildings, The Priest House, situated at Easton on the Hill, near Stamford.

We cleared the roof of moss, pointed stonework and repaired the gutters of this delightful C15th building, before redecorating the walls on the ground floor with a fine distemper of the original shade. The oak front door was treated with a finish of boiled linseed oil.
