Throughout this historic time of living through the Covid-19 pandemic Wheathills has remained greatly positive about the future.

Our tightly knit creative team has pulled together while facing the new challenges posed by working from home and social distancing from colleagues. Moreover, we have made a huge investment in the future of our business by purchasing and importing an incredible new piece of machinery from Australia. We’ve nick-named this large lathe “Big Bertha” and we can’t wait to see her at work. 

This remarkable piece of engineering can turn a bowl five feet wide and a column up to twelve feet long! Soon we’ll be putting Big Bertha to work helping us transform some of our collection of 500 year-old oak, elm and sycamore root balls into magnificent artworks of grand architectural scale. Big Bertha is a large financial investment and reflects our positivity and faith in the future of our beloved business.
