The family box comprises a series of inter-related boxes, symbolic of a family unit.

Each separate box, representing the personality of an individual in the family unit, can stand alone but when each box is placed together the entirety of the grand marquetry design becomes visible, revealing a pattern of linked and connected imagery symbolising shared and inter-connected family memories, unity of understanding and love.
