Belton Boat House

This early C19th boat house, perched on a lake edge and surrounded by mature trees and parkland was in need of gentle maintenance.

Our team of skilled craftsmen repaired the original basket pargeting, replacing sections and repairing cracks. Seven coats of lime wash were applied using the original shade of golden yellow ochre. Repaired timber was grained to simulate fine quarter cut oak using feather and comb technique.
