Celebrating Generosity
A three tier memory box created in walnut and of dovetail form with fine marquetry work themed around family and friends, and celebrating the spirit of generosity.
Each of three separate boxes represents an individual family member but when stacked together to become a single unit, the box reveals the full image of an extended oak tree, which encompasses loved ones.
On each box the iconographic designs flow from front onto lid.
The top box has detailed decoration to the lid interior, namely representations of buildings which hold special family memories. A tray within has a central and small box with a tilting lid inlaid with a private family sentiment.
The two lower boxes will be decorated with relevant motifs at a future date, when new life adventures unfold.
The box is traditionally hand French polished to a silky smooth beeswax finish.
