Patek-Philippe Presentation Box

The importance of packaging, when presenting a valuable object, is most vital for it adds a heightened dimension to the experience of both giving and receiving the gift. As well as increasing anticipation, beautiful packaging can cleverly hint at the prize inside.

We recently enjoyed the opportunity and privilege of creating a presentation box for a luxurious 1937 Patek Philippe gold watch. The beautiful box was created in an appropriate Art Deco style using timber of the period, this being quilted maple, ebony and spalted beech. The top was decorated with a micro marquetry lozenge depicting views of Zurich including the Munster Brucke Bridge and Grossmunster church entwined in the chain of the Patek Philippe watch.
