A Life on the Ocean Wave
A memory box created in quilted maple which is strung to the edge in boxwood is inlaid with a monogram designed by the bride. The front is fitted with a Georgian bow key and on opening the lid, which is fitted with precision made self supporting hinges the interior of the lid is decorated with a marquetry montage of their life and time so far. The interior of the box is fitted with a special things tray having a central box inlaid with a special message which is encompassed with a few flowers from the garland.
The interior is upholstered in fine suede and the timber is traditionally French polished to a silky smooth beeswax finish.
The underside is upholstered in fine leather with a circular marquetry lozenge depicting the Wheathills lady above the year the box was created, all within a coronet.
