Reflection Centre Piece
A walnut sideboard, designed to stand centrally in its own space. This statement piece has a top of flame walnut of book matched design flowing from the centre to the outer coin corners, creating a kaleidoscope of figure banded in camphor and strung in ebony. The two sides are of serpentine form. Fine flowing marquetry adorns the piece and depicts the story of a worldwide journey. The central drawer is fluted below the frieze and carved with a lozenge of Bluebell to the centre. All is supported on turned tapering legs. The piece is traditionally hand French polished to a silky smooth beeswax finish.
