Walnut Serving Table
A serving table of grand proportions, having a plain walnut top, banded in camphor and strung in ebony. Placed in the centre of the back is a marquetry panel depicting travel. The top is shaped to the coin legs which are turned and tapering. The D ends and frieze are decorated with marquetry depicting memorable concerts, the sea, holiday destinations and home creature comforts. A pair of drawers are fitted with handmade gilt handles. All is traditionally hand French polished to a silky smooth beeswax finish.
